NOTICE INVITING TENDER

Sealed tenders are invited from the bonafide registered contractors
who have executed works for CSIR and its National Laboratories,
CPWD, PWD, MES, Railways, Public Sector undertakings, TISCO and TATA
Groups for carrying out the following works at NML, Jamshedpur.
Non-transferable tender
documents can be had on any working day between 9.30 hrs. and 17.00
hrs. from the office of Head, Engineering Division of the laboratory
through Crossed Demand Draft on State Bank of India, payable
at SBI, NML Branch, Jamshedpur in favour of Director, NML,
Jamshedpur. Tender documents will be
issued only to aforesaid bonafide contractors who have executed
One/Two/Three similar types of work @ 80%/50%/40%
of work value respectively. The requests from the
tenderers should accompany proof of credentials viz. Copies of work
orders of similar nature with Completion Certificate/Bills,
Provident Fund Registration Certificate up to date payment of
P.F,E.S.I as per rule, Character Certificate from Superintendent of
Police/Deputy Commissioner and Banker’s Certificate issued from any
nationalised bank which will be received up to 31.01.2012. Contractor’s
interview/scrutiny with their original documents (if necessary) will
be held in the office of Head, Engineering on 01.02.2012 at
14.00 Hrs. and the tender documents will be issued on
03.02.2012 . Last date for submission of
tenders will be 10.02.2012 up to 14.30 hrs.
Tender will be opened on the same day at 15.00 hrs. in
the presence of the tenderers , if any.
The tender documents can also be downloaded from NML Website i.e.
www. nmlindia.org. in such case tender will
be submitted on or before 31.01.2012 in sealed
cover which shall contain two separate sealed envelopes marked as
Part-I and Part-II. The envelope marked Part-I shall contain request
letter, supporting papers for credentials, cost of tender documents
and Earnest Money (Two separate Bank Demand Drafts). The
tender documents with duly priced Bill of Quantity will be submitted
in envelope marked asPart-II. The Part-I will be opened on
01.02.2012 at 14.00 Hrs and Part-II will be opened on 10.02.2012 at
15.00 Hrs. Part-II of tenders will not be opened and will treated as
