Waste utilization activities involve the use of fly ash, red mud and blast furnace slag for the production of cheap and useful products for use by the industry and society at large. These materials have been successfully used to make wear resistant ceramics, ceramic floor and wall tiles, synthetic granite tiles, blended cement and geopolymer. Other activities involved recycling and reuse of electronic waste, purification of waste water and Industrial effluents.
