Salient Technical Feature including Competing Feature

Presence of transverse cracks in wires leads to premature failure.

This system works based on the principle of encircling coil differential probe eddy current. This should be installed in the drawing line and wire passes through the core of the probe. Probe diameter can be changed based on the wire diameter. Features of the present system are as follows:

Test material diameter: 1.5 mm - 2.5 mm

Operating frequency: 10 Khz

Depth Resolution: 200 pm

Drawing line speed: up to 12 m/s

LCD display

Software for data logging to identify defect location

Interfacing through LAN.
